PROGRAM OVERVIEW
Heart of Innovation is a comprehensive day of learning covering many facets of heart disease. Expert faculty will present evidence-based and practical clinical approaches to diagnosis and treatment. A case-based format with audience response & interaction time for discussion is planned. The event will provide an opportunity for health professionals in the Mid-Atlantic region to network and exchange ideas on patient management and clinical practice.

This course is intended for cardiologists, surgeons, internists, family practitioners, residents, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurses, EMTs, paramedics, allied health professionals, fellows and students.

Physicians may claim up to 6.50 in Type 1 or Type 2 CME on the Virginia Board of Medicine Continued Competency and Assessment Form required for the renewal of an active medical license.

Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the evaluation component, enables the participant to earn up to 6.50 MOC points in the American Board of Internal Medicine's (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. Participants will earn MOC points equivalent to the amount of CME credits claimed for the activity.
