LTC (Ret) Peter Van Geertruyden, MD

Dr. Peter Van Geertruyden is a graduate of the United States Military Academy and Tulane School of Medicine. He completed his radiology residency at Walter Reed Army Medical Center and Musculoskeletal Radiology fellowship at Thomas Jefferson University.

After nearly 30 years in the Army, Dr. Van Geertruyden retired from active duty last year and is currently a staff MSK radiologist with Medical Center Radiologists.

Dr. Van Geertruyden is an active American College of Radiology member at both the national and local level. He is the current President of the District of Columbia Medical Radiological Society.
