Large Volume Thrombectomy of the IVC in the Iliac Veins

David Dexter, M.D. shares a case of a 78 year old male who has a history of venous disease. He recently had back surgery and experienced post surgical pain. His legs became swollen and he received an ultrasound which revealed a clot that extended through both legs and all the way up the vena cava. In this video they will attempt large volume cable thrombectomy using venous venous bypass.
