Hello, my name is Deepak Talrea. I'm the clinical chief of cardiology at Centera Health, and I'm extremely excited to welcome you to learn more about our fellowship program in cardiology. Centera Health is an amazing organization based in Hampton Rhodes, Virginia. We have 12 hospitals that refer in our hub, the Heart Hospital in Norfolk, where the training program will be located. We have 16 outpatient offices referring to that facility, and these practices are staffed by over 55 cardiologists specializing in everything from general cardiology to advanced imaging, interventional cardiology, structural heart, EP electrophysiology. And advanced heart failure treatment we have an amazing division that practices on the cutting edge of technology and that's what we make available to candidates training with us here. This is an amazing area in the country to live, and our trainees from the internal medicine and family medicine programs have had great success getting involved in research projects in cardiology and presenting at local and national and even international conferences. We're excited to have you learn more about our program and we're very excited about the opportunity we have to train physicians in cardiology in the cutting edge of cardiovascular care and helping take care of patients in this community. This program has a tremendous academic focus and over the years we've not only held biyearly cardiology conferences focusing on everything from. Vascular care to pulmonary hypertension to general cardiology and subspecialty areas of cardiology but we broadcast live cases both within the division and nationally, and this is part of what you'd be part of. Hello everyone, I'm Emin Yeche, the program director of the Cardiology fellowship at Eastern Virginia Medical School and Old Dominion University.
