Mark Bawcom, D.C.
Mark Bawcom was born in Las Cruces New Mexico and lived there until he was 8 years old. His family moved to Saudi Arabia for 3 years then to a small island called Kwajalein in the Marshal Islands. It was there that Mark fell in love with the ocean and all things wind and water.
Mark grew up as an athlete. He was a gymnast and a pole vaulter in college and sustained several injuries that chiropractic care helped him recover from. Mark was drawn to the drug free nature and non-invasive approach of the treatments.
He did a premed program in college but felt that chiropractic care was more inline with his personality than allopathic care. After graduating college he took some time on the ski slopes of Colorado to figure out what he wanted to do in life. It was during this period that Mark decided to become a chiropractor and he went to the Parker College of Chiropractic in Dallas, TX.
Dr. Bawcom now gets relief for many of his patients that could not get effective treatment from other chiropractors. He has also established a great working relationship with many MD’s in the area that refer patients to Bawcom Chiropractic. He is also an active member of the Virginia Chiropractic Association.
